Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai is completely distraught after KRA decided to shut down the company over tax arrears.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Anerlisa has spoken out expressing her shock. It’s so sad that Keroche has been shut down. And nobody seems to want to listen, help or negotiate. Cried Anerlisa.
She went on to add that her water company dubbed Nero, shares the same compound with Keroche. And I must say, it has been very sad seeing Keroche closed for two months. She added.

Miss Muigai added that about six hundred and fifty people are stranded not knowing when the company will be operational. and are also at risk of losing their jobs,” she added
The voluptuous beauty claimed that she wonders if a big company like Keroche can be shut down just like that, what happens to small and upcoming businesses.
She went on to call out KRA for their decision. How do you get your taxes paid by closing Keroche and on top of that you tell all the banks not to give them a loan. How inhuman can one get? At this point, I’ll leave everything to God. May God help us all.”
Nauru residents protest
On Saturday morning, several Nakuru residents took to the streets to protest the closure of the company
They pleaded with the government to intervene between KRA and Keroche. “The company stopped producing beer and a number of employees have lost their jobs. Many families will be affected…I beseech President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene because the owner is a local investor in Kenya,” said a protester.
