Socialite Amber Ray has been mourning her best friend Sally alias Empressal who was laid to rest on Tuesday.
Sally passed away on 12th December, under unknown circumstances. Rumor mongers had said that the beauty passed away after receiving a skin whitening injection.
But Amber rubbished the rumors through her Instagram page.
“I’ve never been the kind of a person to address rumours but I just want to make it clear that my BFF didn’t die of skin bleaching injection as all idlers claim. She was born naturally light and so beautiful, and we are still waiting for the postmortem results. So please, as much as it’s tea for you, at least get your facts right!” She wrote.
However, according to Sally’s eulogy, it was noted that she died from chronic back pain. Sally had been involved in a car accident in 2015 where she developed a spine injury.
Since then she has been receiving treatment from various hospitals. And even underwent spine surgery in 2017 and another one in 2018 in India.
On that fateful day. She complained of severe back pain and she took medication only to later collapse during the night and was rushed to hospital when she passed away on arrival,” read the Eulogy.
The Tribute
Taking to her Instagram, Amber eulogized her best friend Sally as an ever-present friend in her life.
My dear Sally, you always had me! You always checked on me! It is now my turn to make you proud here on earth. I know our young ones are safe with your brother John and Sister Faith! Together with the rest of your family. I know the standards you have already set for them will only grow, and I promise I will be there for them when they need me and even when they don’t. Jesus went to prepare a place for us, I guess yours ended before mine for a reason.
Amber went ahead to joke that Sally should shoe them in heaven how she would like her interior done. And where to put her kitchen. So please show them how I like my interior done, and where to put the kitchen…
