The Alliance Girls High School is at the center of sex crime allegations against a German teacher and the Christian Union (CU) leader Mr. Peter Ayiro.
If the claims are true, Peter Ayiro is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He pretends to guide the girls spiritually, but behind the prayers, he uses his position to target them, getting close emotionally, then crossing the line physically.
Five former students exposed Ayiro for using his authority as a teacher and spiritual leader to create intense, personal relationships that later became physical or sexual.
These were not accidents. This was grooming.
Two women said Ayiro touched them inappropriately while they were still students.
One said he kissed her without consent just weeks after she left the school.
Two others say he started emotionally intense relationships with them right after graduation, relationships that later became sexual.
All of them said they felt confused, pressured, and taken advantage of. They were teenagers. He was their teacher, a grown man, and someone they trusted.

One of these relationships ended in marriage.
That’s right! Peter Ayiro did in fact marry a former student. One he once taught, mentored, and prayed with while she was still a teenager.
The relationship reportedly began soon after she left school. Even though it became legal, the emotional power imbalance is clear. He had laid the groundwork while she was still under his influence.
In 2021, news of this relationship reached his church community, where his father is a pastor. But nothing was done. And Peter Ayiro kept teaching. In fact, he stayed in charge of the Christian Union. He remained close to girls.
Before publishing, Investigative Journalist Christine Mungai informed the school. Instead of action, she faced pressure.
How did Alliance Girls High School Respond?
At the BOM meeting, members first expressed outrage. Then it became clear they were more concerned about the school’s reputation than justice for the girls.
The BOM asked for the stiry to be delayed or dropped.
One board member grabbed Mungai’s arm and shouted about how seriously they took abuse.
The board offered no official response before publication.
Two former principals refused to comment. One did not respond. The board has said nothing.
And How did Allan Monda Respond?
When Mr. Peter Ayiro was given a chance to respond, he either denied or deflected. And completely ignored some questions.
Then, on May 5, Peter Ayiro went to court to block the story. He claimed the article would destroy his name, make him lose his job, and that the accusations were unfair because no one had ever filed a formal complaint against him.
Eventually, the court ruled the story be published, as it is in the public interest and involves child safety.
The evidence is strong, and Peter Ayiro had been given a fair chance to respond.
The school has taken no public action.
