TRISHA KHALID: HOW VERA SIDIKA SAVED MY CAREER DURING A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS

Content creator and actress Trisha Khalid has opened up about a moment that almost ended her career. She revealed that relentless online trolling and negativity pushed her to the brink, leaving her emotionally drained and ready to quit social media.

In an interview with Shiksha Arora, Trisha admitted, “Yes, there was a time I reached a point where I wanted to quit social media.”

At her lowest moment, she turned to Vera Sidika, a socialite and mentor. Vera didn’t offer comfort. Instead, she gave Trisha a blunt ultimatum: face the challenges of online fame or delete her accounts and disappear. “By that, she meant closing my accounts and forgetting that I even existed online,” Trisha recalled.

The advice forced Trisha to pause and reflect. She realized that quitting would not only silence her critics but also destroy the career and financial independence she had built over five years. Her content was generating income and opening doors to opportunities.

“I asked myself why I would quit when my content was generating income,” she said. That moment became a turning point, and she chose to stay and fight through the noise.

Since then, Trisha has learned to protect her peace. Her rule is simple: read the negative comments, feel nothing, and block users when necessary. “Reacting only drains you,” she explained.

Trisha also reflected on her journey to TikTok fame. She joined the platform in 2019 and spent years building consistency, creativity, and resilience. Today, many of her videos receive over a million views, proving that success takes time and effort.

Beyond her career, Trisha confirmed she is in a committed and happy relationship, but prefers to keep her personal life private.
