Ruth Moraa, now wheelchair-bound, is seeking justice after a freak ziplining accident left her paralyzed.

According to her TikTok page, Ruth Moraa visited Last Village Lodge in Lukenya, Athi River, about 33 km from Nairobi. The lodge’s website promises an “idyllic spot with mesmerizing views of the plains and surrounding hills.” But instead of enjoying her experience, Ruth returned home unable to walk.

On her TikTok, she shared videos of herself healthy and able-bodied just before going on the zipline. Later videos show her unable to walk, either in a wheelchair or lying on the ground.

“Through their carelessness, they broke my spinal cord and left me helpless. Please help me get justice,” Ruth Moraa wrote.

Ruth is now planning to sue and is seeking legal help. Last Village Lodge has not yet publicly responded to her allegations.

The incident has sparked concern online, as many netizens say it has made them rethink ziplining, an activity that had been on their bucket lists.
