“I THOUGHT I WAS INFERTILE: MESH OF WAPENDWA MUZIKI OPENS UP

Kenyan gospel duo Wapendwa Muziki, Mesh and Ninah, have announced they are expecting their first child after years of struggling with infertility.

Mesh opened up about his long-standing fears of being infertile, a concern rooted in his family history. For years, he worried he might never father a child. He only shared this history with his wife, Ninah, much later in their marriage.

The couple also faced challenges with family planning, which delayed conception and caused emotional strain. Public speculation suggested Mesh might be the cause, adding to his anxiety.

Despite the difficulties, the pair relied heavily on their faith. They dated for eight years and married in 2021, keeping their relationship pure and grounded in prayer. Over the next four years, they endured a long wait for a child, continuing to sing songs of hope and worship while trusting God’s timing.

Their faith-inspired journey included the Hallelujah Challenge, where they dressed “like their miracle,” inspiring their song Amefanya Mungu, which has over 10 million views on YouTube.

In September 2025, they shared the joyous news of their pregnancy through a touching YouTube video, bringing tears of happiness to their fans.
