Meru businessman Daniel (Dennis) Kasyoki, aka Nzou or Sonko or Kababy, who died in a tragic accident along Mombasa Road near Greenpark, Athi River will be buried on 10/4/2025.

The NutriBlends Africa CEO, Daniel Kasyoki, died in a tragic road accident around 12:20 am near the Primarosa area of Greenpark, Athi River.

Police said Kasyoki’s Ford Ranger collided with a Mercedes Actros trailer carrying used shoes from Mombasa to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Ranger tried to overtake before cutting back into the lane, causing both vehicles to lose control. The trailer overturned and its container crashed onto the pickup.

Kasyoki was trapped in the wreckage. Witnesses said he struggled for nearly 30 minutes, pleading with a young boy beside him to help.

However, rescue took too long, and a crane to lift the container arrived only eight hours later.

He died at the scene.

His passenger, James Mwangangi Mulatya, was injured and rushed to Shalom Community Hospital, while the trailer driver, Abdullahi Ouru Hillow, escaped unharmed.

Daniel Kasyoki Family unveils Burial Plans

The eulogy shared by his family reveals Kasyoki is survived by his wife Regina Mumo Kasyoki and two children, Nisha Katee and Clive Kendwa.

Though successful in business, he kept his family life private and away from the public eye.

A candle-lighting and fundraiser will be held on Thursday, October 2, at Captains Lounge, Sabaki. He will be buried on Saturday, October 4, at Itetani, Mbooni, Makueni County.

Kasyoki, the CEO of NutriBlends Africa Ltd, leaves behind a family and community deeply shaken by his untimely death.
