Mugithi star Samidoh went from kissing his wife Edday Nderitu live on TikTok, to shading his ex, Senator Karen Nyamu.
The event, held at Embassy Lounge in Nairobi, was full of energy. Samidoh had just flown in from the U.S. but did not let travel fatigue stop him from giving an electrifying Homecoming show.
During his performance, he led the crowd in bold anti government chants.
At one point, he shouted “Harambee!” and fans responded with “Wantam!.”
But the biggest moment of the night came when the entertainer performed “Mdosi”, a popular song originally by Salim Junior. The song tells the story of a man who is called “mdosi” (boss) when he has money, only to be used and left by women once it is gone. In the original, the women are named Fatuma, Nyambura, and Akinyi.
Mid-performance, Samidoh playfully switched the name Nyambura to Nyamu, clearly referencing Karen Nyamu. The crowd burst into laughter and cheers, understanding the subtle jab.
Karen Nyamu Reacts to Video of Samidoh Kissing Edday
This comes days after a TikTok video of Samidoh kissing his wife, Edday Nderitu, in the presence of Bernice Saroni went viral.
The clip sparked conversation online. A fan even asked Nyamu if she had seen the video. Karen replied quickly, saying,
“Then when he kisses me on Friday, you’ll start drama.”
Anyway, it must not be easy for Karen Nyamu to witness Samidoh reuniting with his wife, Edday Nderitu. And especially after Edday left him because of her when their affair became public. On top of that, Karen is catching strays from her ex, Samidoh, as he performs and throws shade.
But then again, matters between two people who have once shared a duvet are never simple.
