A family portrait showed both her parents and Maurine holding hands. She captioned it:
“Happiest birthday dad, we love you.”
This heartfelt moment comes amid explosive claims from Simon’s estranged wife, Sarah Mtalii, who has alleged that Simon is romantically involved with Maurine, whom he claims is his daughter.

Court documents show Sarah learned of Maurine’s existence only in April 2022. She says there is still no DNA proof that Maureen is Simon’s child.
Sarah alleges Simon and Maurine Kabu now live together in what she once considered her home. She claims they behave more like a couple than father and daughter.
Sarah also says Maurine contributed to the breakdown of their marriage, causing emotional pain, neglect, and humiliation.
In addition, she accuses Simon of transferring company assets and vehicles to Maurine and her travel firm, Adequate Safaris, after she filed for divorce, to prevent her from accessing what’s rightfully hers.
Simon has vehemently denied the allegations. He insists he is only mentoring all his children and dismissed Sarah’s claims as jealousy-fueled. Addressing his critics, he said:
“When you touch my child, I have an obligation as a father to protect and mentor them. My defamation case is still being built. Truth will always prevail!”
A High Court issued an injunction barring Sarah from making further statements without court approval, after Simon claimed defamation.
