Former Deputy President, now turned Opposition Leader Rigathi Gachagua has shared a plan to take President William Ruto to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
He spoke about this while addressing Kenyans living in Seattle, Washington State, during his trip to the United States.
How is Gachagua Planning to take President Ruto to The ICC?

Gachagua said he has created a team that is working across Kenya.
Their job is to collect evidence of crimes that have happened under Ruto’s leadership.
These include killings, abductions, disappearances, and people being forced to leave their homes. He believes that as the president, Ruto is responsible for these actions and should be taken to court.
He explained that once the evidence is ready, they will present it to the ICC. His goal is to link it to the 2007 post-election violence case, which he says was never fully closed but only paused.
Gachagua did not say whether his team will also investigate crimes that may have happened when he was Deputy President himself.
He also asked Kenyans living abroad to support his plan.
Remove Ruto, Save Kenya! – Riggy G
Gachagua, alias Riggy G, said that the only way to save the country is by removing Ruto from office and holding him accountable. He called it a national fight that needs everyone’s voice. And that silence is not an option anymore.
After his meeting in Seattle, Gachagua said he has heard many painful stories from Kenyans abroad. The Kenyans are worried about the direction the country is heading. This is giving him even more reason to push forward with his mission.
Riggy G ended by asking all Kenyans who care about the country to speak up and help in what he called a fight to free the nation. He believes this is the only way to make things better.
