Ugandan music star Jose Chameleone has given an update on his health after being admitted to a hospital in the United States.
The singer revealed he is preparing for pancreatic surgery following a recent health scare.
Chameleone shared a video from his hospital bed at Allina Health Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, where he thanked his supporters for their prayers.
“A big thanks to you all for your love and prayers. I am here for my surgery and will update you on my progress. Thank you, my people,” he said.
Was Jose Chameleone Imprisoned for Assault?
The Valu Valu hitmaker, who was once accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife, also addressed rumors that he had been imprisoned in the U.S. or had assaulted his caretaker, Juliet Zawedde.
He spoke in his native Luganda language to directly communicate with his Ugandan fans, firmly denying the allegations.
“I have watched some video of one little mistress telling lies about me being in jail etc. What type of mind do such people have anyway?” he questioned.
Media reports indicate that Chameleone’s journey to the U.S. was made possible by Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Juliet Zawedde, who covered his travel and medical expenses. He expressed deep gratitude for her support.
Fans from across the world have sent him messages of love and encouragement, wishing him a quick recovery. His supporters continue to pray for his health as he awaits surgery.
