Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) boss Ezekiel Mutua recently linked up with Pastor Victor Kanyari over his controversial behavior on TikTok.
Kanyari’s conduct on the platform, marked by inappropriate language and a recent incident involving the presentation of condoms during a church service, has sparked widespread criticism.
Expressing disappointment, Mutua condemned Kanyari’s actions as a misrepresentation of religious values.
Ezekiel Mutua Criticizes Pastor Kanyari

Mutua criticized Pastor Kanyari, saying, “Kanyari must be stopped. That’s not a church he is running. It’s a mockery of the church and a disgrace to the Christian faith.”
Mutua blamed Kanyari for the decline in morals among the youth.
Mutua added, “But he is a product of a sick society that we have become, a society that thrives on clout chasing and side shows, a society where morality is despised, good people are demonised, and thieves canonised.”
However, the two subsequently met to address Kanyari’s behavior.
In a dramatic gesture, Kanyari knelt before Mutua, seeking his guidance and prayer.
Reflecting on their encounter, Kanyari expressed surprise at Mutua’s interest in meeting him, stating, “I was shocked when I saw that you were looking for me, and I wondered where I will look for you.”
Pastor Kanyari Seeks Forgiveness
Acknowledging his mistakes, Kanyari sought forgiveness for his actions, particularly regarding the condom incident. He explained, “I wanted to ask for forgiveness. If there is anyone I have wronged, I am asking for forgiveness.”
The pastor said he did not know when Faith Peters gifted him a pack of condoms, she was looking for views and fame on TikTok. “I asked people from TikTok to come to my church, but one woman brought me condoms in church, and I laughed. I did not know it would bring so much trouble. I did not know it was content they were looking for.”
