Yvette Obura, who shares a child with musician Bahati, recently praised Bahati’s wife, Diana Marua, for her excellent co-parenting.
Talking openly to Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi, Obura commended Diana for making co-parenting easy and smooth.
“Co-parenting is amazing. I think the only disagreement we have with Bahati is his desire for Mueni to spend more time with him. We’ve never had any arguments. They are both amazing people,” Obura said.

Yvette Obura shared how Diana Marua came through for her during a moment of personal struggle.
“Diana Bahati is such an incredible mother, and I want to give her the recognition she deserves. There was this one time I experienced a severe mental breakdown, and she graciously took Mueni for two weeks. It’s impossible to care for a child when you’re mentally unwell. That day, I was overwhelmed with gratitude, realizing that Diana is truly a godsend.” She said.
“Even with clothes, I don’t always have to buy for Mueni. Diana simply shows up and tells me she’s bought them. Mueni affectionately calls her ‘mum’,”
Yvette Obura Dispels Rumors

Additionally, Obura dispelled rumors surrounding her relationship with Bahati. She also clarified misconceptions about her financial independence, particularly regarding the purchase of her car.
“Last year, I bought a car, and there were rumors that someone else had bought it for me. I want to set the record straight—I work hard for my money, and I want to make it clear today that I bought my own car with my own money,” Obura affirmed.
Addressing speculations, she added, “People in the comment section were suggesting that the car was gifted to me. That’s simply not true. I purchased the car independently.”
