During the Happy Country event, Crazy Kennar shared the heartbreaking loss of his son just four days prior. But, the comedian, whose real name is Kennedy Odhiambo did not share what caused the loss. The emotional Kennar went through a tough time as his loss coincided with organizing the show.
“Unfortunately, my son died four days ago. So, it has been a very tough journey for me because we had to go through that and at the same time make the show,”
The comedian shared.
Unsurprisingly, the Happy Country held on December 16, at the KICC was a full house.
Crazy Kennar Loses Son
Initially, Crazy Kennar intended to inform the crowd that he was a father. But, unfortunately, his newborn son passed away. The comedian admitted that the week leading up to the show was difficult.
“When I came here, I was supposed to share the news that am a father. The past week I went through a lot of problems.”
Crazy Kennar said.
Spreading Love at The Happy Country
The 25-year-old suggested that as happy citizens, it is important to approach someone who seems cheerful and inquire about their well-being.
“So my word as a happy Citizen is that, whenever you see somebody walking and smiling, just go and ask them whether or not they are okay.”
He advised.
Crazy Kennar also encouraged a sense of community by emphasizing the need to be mindful of each other. And to be supportive like brothers and sisters to foster love and unity. He concluded with a warm welcome to the happy country.
“Let’s be our brother’s keepers, our sister’s keepers. Let’s love one another and welcome to the happy country”
