Lupita Nyong’o also adopted cat Yoyo at the urging of her friend Palmer. To Lupita, Yoyo, is the most remarkable gift that Palmer bestowed. Every cuddle and glance at this furry companion serves as a reminder of the selfless love that the former drama school roommates share.
“She did not tire of being of service to me, and the biggest gift she bestowed on my life was helping me get my first pet, Yoyo. Now every time I look at him and cuddle with him, I am reminded of the selfless love my sister from another mister showed me.”
The Oscar-winning actress expressed feeling indebted to Palmer. Though their friendship is not about keeping score, Lupita hoped to be able to repay Palmer for her kindness.
