Former comedian, Mulamwah, recently added a new chapter to his life. This is after he married his best friend, ‘bestie’ Ruth, in a stunning traditional wedding. The event was filled with love, culture, dance, and a not-so- unexpected surprise – Ruth’s visible pregnancy.
The pregnancy
Mulamwah first announced the news of his bestie’s pregnancy via social media on October 10, 2023, hinting at Bestie’s morning sickness.
“Bestie anatapika tapika ma asubui asubui ivi. shida inaweza kua nini ? (Bestie keeps on throwing up in the morning hours, what could be the problem)”Wrote Mulamwa
Ruth seemingly confirmed the good news through a lighthearted Instagram caption.
“live for the moment ♥️ , kutapika imepungua . mguu ndio naona imefura kidogo sasa (the morning sickness subsided, but my feet are a bit swollen”
Ruth stated.
Bitter ex
While netizens were happy for the couple on their pregnancy announcement, it opened a can of worms with Carrol ‘Sonie’ Muthoni. She is Mulamwa’s first baby mama, with whom they share a daughter, Keila. The two broke up in 2021 when Keila was three months old. Carrol, while refusing to comment on whether they co-parent, claimed that Mulamwa denied his daughter.

But, Mulamwa said that it was tricky to be in his daughter’s life. The comedian claimed that Carrol rebuffed his parenting advances, going as far as returning any money or gifts he sent his daughter.
“I try to support but ni hard. Unatuma pesa zinarevasiwa… ata birthday nimetuma gift ikarudishwa so inakua tricky sana. Sijui shida wapi jameni. (Any money that I send is reversed. Even the birthday gift that I sent was returned. So it is tricky”

Now that he has another baby on the way, what will Mulamwa gift his bestie as a push gift? Seeing as he generously gifted his first babymama Ksh 100K, the answer remains to be seen.
