Bomet Woman Representative Linet ‘Toto’ Chepkorir has been the topic of discussion for hours. This was after photos of her fiancé Godfrey Kimutai Tanui proposing to her went viral on Twitter as the world marked Valentine’s Day.
Toto’s boyfriend proposed to her in a colorful event. Even though they did not appear quite cheerful in the pictures. The 25-year-old politician shared photos from her proposal, asking God to bless and guide their relationship. “It is a new life chapter golden gilded cage where we tied the knot. The vehement passion in oblivion, reminiscences of the glorious moments shall never fade... She wrote in part.
Netizen’s congratulated the politician while a good number felt that the man was an opportunist. Because recently, politician Peter Salasya threatened to impregnate Toto if she went on talking ill of Raila Odinga.
Real or fake proposal?
Online sleuths embarked on a mission of finding out more about the man. And rumors are rife that the man was previously married if his Facebook posts are anything to go by.
His page is plastered with pictures of two kids which he categorically states are his under one post. Pictures of his wife or mother of his kids are however nowhere to be seen. He tells off a fan in one of the pictures ‘those are my kids just don’t ask about their mother.’
Toto on the other hand seems to have been married in 2014. In one of her pages, which password she might have forgotten, she appears to have gotten married to one Ustadh Ngeno.
Neither Toto nor her fiance has addressed the posts or their past. But what do you think?
