Police have tracked down more items stolen during Saturday night’s robbery incident at a home in Ongata Rongai, Nairobi, that was captured on CCTV.
Police had previously recovered a pistol, cash and clothes allegedly belonging to robbers caught on CCTV cameras robbing a woman at gunpoint in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County.
The robbery incident occurred on Sunday, June 12 at 2 am at the woman’s home on Gataka Road.

On Wednesday, National Police Service announced that four suspects linked to the incident were in custody. And were assisting the police with further investigations.
NPS said that the suspects would be arraigned once the investigations are concluded.
According to NPS, some household electronic appliances had been recovered as of Thursday morning.
Photos shared by the law enforcement agency show a pistol, subwoofer, sound bar, television set, clothes and a phone among the items currently in police custody.
“We salute the officers involved in the operation for their diligence and commitment to the task. We also appreciate members of the public for cooperating with law enforcement in the course of investigations,” read a statement issued Thursday.
The arrest
On Tuesday, police arrested the first two suspects linked to the attack that was captured on CCTV footage that went viral on social media.
The two were nabbed after they allegedly used details of Sunday’s victim to withdraw cash from a mobile money shop.
They were arrested in Kasarani, almost 50 kilometres away from the scene of the crime after withdrawing Sh240,000 from an Mpesa shop.
The money had been illegally transferred from the woman’s account on the night of the attack. The second pair of suspects was arrested on Wednesday.-
