A young man who was brutalized and harassed in a vicious cycle of theft and corruption reached out to the tea master, Edgar Obare, to share horrifying details of the ordeal.
Dennis Ojiambo, having tried all the possible solutions from DCI, DPP and IPOA resolved to try his luck at BNN.
The begining
Dennis disclosed to the tea master that he wanted to begin a shoeshine business in CBD. Like a good citizen, he followed the necessary steps to acquire the legal documents needed.
It was during that time he came across a man who worked at City Hall. He sent Dennis to a lady identified as Vivian who would turn out to be a con artist.
Vivian informed poor Dennis that he needed to pay a whooping of one hundred thousand shillings to acquire the necessary letter. Desperate, Dennis toiled very hard and got the money that he gave to Vivian on 16th August 2021. Vivian assured him that it would not take over a week for him to acquire the letter.
Unfortunately, Dennis only got fake excuses till October when he noticed that something was not right. He reported the matter to the KICC Police Station on 10th October, but Vivian was never arrested. He waited patiently for a report from the Police Department as well.

On 22nd October, Ojiambo says he got a call from Rogers (the guy who directed him to Vivian) asking to meet up at Garden Square Restaurant.
The threats
At the restaurant, Rogers came bearing bad news and threats for Dennis. Rogers warned Dennis “listen here young boy, if love your life to KICC station as stealthily as you went to repost Vivian. And withdraw that case or else you will regret it. I mean my words. If the day ends without you withdrawing that case, do not say I did not warn you!” Ojiambo demanded to know if he would get his money back to which Rogers simply asked him to do as warned.
Dennis rushed to the KICC police station and reported the threats as he pleaded with the officers to arrest Vivian or let go of the case. The officers refused to withdraw the case and promised to protect him.

The assault
However, that evening, Dennis was accosted by two men who forcefully took away one of his phones. They informed him that they would help him shut up and stop disturbing Rogers. The unidentified men then descended on him with a hammer, hit him on the head and left him unconscious. However, he could easily overhear their conversation as they debated breaking his back. They hit his back with a stone and took photos of his unconscious body thinking that he was dead. They then threw him in a terrace.

Dennis woke up at Nairobi Hospital with first aid bandages. He was taken to Ongata Rongai Police Station to record a statement. And later taken to four different hospitals which refused to attend to him. He was later admitted at Mbagathi hospital and referred to Germany Medical Center.

The neglect
On his way to the medical institution, Dennis received a call from KICC asking him to go make a report about the incident which he did on 23rd Oct.
On 26th, Ojiambo received a call from a sergeant identified as Ngige, who informed him that Vivian and Rogers were arrested and he should pull up at the station.
Ngige listened to both parties and concluded that Vivian and Rogers were on the wrong. The two were arrested and released the same day on cash bail. And they never met at the court as it had been reported.
Ngige reportedly called Dennis demanding that he withdraws the case. And that he would get his money back from Vivian and phone from Rogers.
Dennis got his money and phone back amid threats from Ngige who informed him that he would arrest him should he show up at the KICC police station again.
His assault case at Ongata Rongai had also hit a wall seeing that nothing was been done. He unsuccessfully tried to get help from DCI. IPOA, and OPP. Till he met Edgar Obare’s ardent fan who asked him to reach out.
Here are supporting documents proving that Dennis has reached out to all sources without help.

Dennis is hoping that he will finally get justice and get back his belongings taken from him by the city council officers.
Justice for Dennis.
So sad…. justice for dennis
