Chris Brown on Wednesday posted a series of texts and voice messages on his Instagram Stories in an attempt to clear his name from his rape case. The messages and voice notes prove that the woman who acused him, continued to pursue a relationship with him despite the alleged sexual assault incident.
“Missing u,” read one message nearly nine months after the Miami encounter. “U were honestly the best —- I’ve had lol I just want it again. Why are you playing with me lol.” asked the woman.
“I just want to see you again,” she tells him. “Just let me know if you want me to leave you alone, I definitely will. But I really just want to fuck with you again.” sheis hard saying in the vn.
The case
In January this year, Chris Brown was accused of sexual assault by a woman. She was suing Chris Brown for allegedly drugging and raping her while at a party in Miami in December 2020.
Shortly after reports of the lawsuit were published online, Chris Brown wrote, “Whenever I’m releasing music or projects, ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bulls–t.” He also added a cap emoji — slang for lies.
The victim identified as Jane Doe, a professional musician and choreographer, had said that she met Chris at a party in Diddy’s home. But alleged that the incident took place on a yacht that was docked outside Diddy’s home.
Jane, according to the lawsuit disclosed that Chris gave her drinks that led her to feel a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness. She reported that she felt disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep. At which point, she claimed Brown took her into a bedroom, removed her bikini bottom and began to have sex with her. She begged him to stop, but he allegedly ignored her pleas.
In his recent posts, Brown said No more dragging me through the mud. CLEARLY, YOU CAN ALL SEE THE (blue cap emoji).”
He added, “Me and my team are taking legal action on this situation. You don’t play with people’s lives like that.”
Reactions
Attorney withdraws
An attorney for the rape accuser has reportedly withdrawn from the case less than 24 hours after several of Jane’s textswere leaked. According the attorney, the client didn’t tell her about the messages she’d sent to Brown in the wake of the alleged assault.
Support
In light of the new information, Chris Brown received an outpouring of support on social media, including from some of his celebrity peers.
Lil Duval also rushed to Chris Brown’s defense while weighing in on the topic of false rape allegations.
“So if Chris brown didn’t have those text y’all would’ve automatically took the woman side,” he asked his Twitter followers. “sad part is somebody can come out tomorrow saying the same thing and y’all will still take her side.”
He added, “When y’all be dead ass wrong y’all just act like it never happened. But the person y’all falsely accused is stuck with that stigma of them for the rest of they life. You go to anybody page that was bashing Chris brown none of them apologizing for believing that girl.”
