Bongo star Rayvanny in an Instagram post announced that he was officially leaving Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB).
This comes after working together for six years.
In a two-minute video, Rayvanny took his fans back to when he started out. And also showcased his close outstanding relationship with the WCB boss Diamond Platnumz.
“Ni miaka sita sasa toka tuanze kufanya kazi pamoja. My team, my family, WCB Wasafi, upendo, umoja imekua gunzo kubwa sana kama team,” said Rayvanny at the beginning of the video.
Rayvanny thanked Diamond’s label profusely for playing a major role in his music career.
Rayvanny had already started his label last year and issued a statement saying he would continue working with Wasafi. See article.
Explaining the reason he quit the label, Rayvanny said he wanted to create more opportunities for upcoming musicians.
“It is my time to leave home and start a new life. The aim is to grow and also it is to create an opportunity for other artistes. I leave and others get helped. I will be helping other young musicians in wherever I am going. I was helped to get to this level.”
Diamond commented under Rayvanny”s post wishing him all the best.
